Background: Was the leader for a marketing project with very diverse team members (2 upperclassmen, 1 student athlete, 1 foreign exchange student, and 1 biology major). Tasked with raising $750,000 for a small town Vermont based general store with a $200,000 marketing budget.

Action: Although difficult at first, I established 3 golden rules for the group: 1) Come prepared to meetings 2) Ask questions 3) Stay ahead. Created print, television, and radio advertisements aimed to draw a sense of community and family fun towards BGS. Optimize BGS Facebook page and a BGS sponsored pancake festival/party in towns surrounding the store.

Results: Project was a success! Voted best presentation and received an A- grade. Through the process, my teammates became my friends and all 6 of us get together for dinner each semester.
